Terraton Initiative
This is a global movement lead by Indigo Agriculture to remove 1 trillion tons of carbon dioxide from the atmosphere and use it to enrich agricultural soils. I was tasked with creating a new brand identity and inform the overall visual language for this initiative.
The logo presents a simple equation to communicate the basic premise of transforming a negative into a positive. Carbon dioxide is harmful in the air but beneficial to crop soil. The idea is to draw down the CO2 from the atmosphere into the soil where it can be harnessed and utilized.
The geometry and color scheme are key elements that tie the campaign together. To avoid the cliché imagery of most agricultural branding and marketing, it was essential to establish a modern look and feel.
